Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Therapy Hyox

Description
The HYOX Hyperbaric Therapy Unit (HTU 2) is specifically designed as a cost effective, stand alone therapy system for the treatment of non critical patients. The HTU2 is pressurized with air and is capable of treatment pressures of up to 2ATA (Atmospheres Absolute) (14.7psig). The patients breathes 100% oxygen through an oral, nasal mask or hood. There are three options to administer oxygen/air to the BIBS: Standard system, hospital system and remote panel system.

The compact, external dimensions of the HTU2 are achieved by utilising a unique hull and a unique door and seat mechanism.

The emphasis is on safety, simplicity and low oxygen consumption. This maximizes efficiency in service giving low through-life operating costs. It can be used in almost any location without the need for structural modifications or special facilities. The pressure hull is designed and constructed in accordance with UK standard BS 5500 and the system is certified by Lloyds Register.

The Main Components

The HTU 2 main components are:

· The pressure hull
· The pressure control system
· The BIBs (Built in Breathing System)
· Patient monitoring and safety features

These items and other unique features are described in greater detail in the HTU2 Gallery.

Advantages Over Acrylic Chambers

· Premium quality at half the price of acrylic chambers.
· Unique design - Space efficient.
· Cheaper to Run - Open circuit acrylic chambers consume approx. 20 times more oxygen per hour.
· Safer - 20 times les oxygen used. Small amount of oxygen contained in mask rather than flushed through chamber.
· Unique emergency door opening system - Patient can vent the chamber and open the door from inside the chamber.
· Ergonomically Contoured Seat - Patient is sitting up during the treatment rather than lying down
· Easy to install.

The HTU2 needs only a domestic power supply and oxygen to become fully operational making it highly suited to use in:

· Hospitals
· Nursing Homes
· Medical Centres
· Outpatients
· Health/Day Centres
· Single/Group Therapy Units

Note: This unit comes with a 1 year warranty and is refurbished in great working condition
