Description
The Aspect A-2000 BIS Monitoring system is intended to monitor the state of the brain by data acquisition of EEG signals in the Intensive Care Unit, Operating Room, and for Clinical Research. The Bispectral Index (BIS), may be used as an aid in monitoring the effects of certain anesthetic agents. The system is a user configurable patient monitoring system designed to monitor the hypnotic state of the brain based on the acquisition and processing of EEG signals. The display consists of the BIS number,Trend plots of processed EEG parameters in real time, Raw EEG waveforms, Density Spectral Arrays (DSA), Numberic BIS log, and signal quality indicators. The system performs self-tests to ensure that the monitor and its components are functioning properly and that patient sensors are within acceptable limits The unit comes with operators manual, acquisition cable, and power cord. Disposable sensors are NOT included.
