Description
Leica XL Programmable Slide Stainer model ST5010. This high throughput automatic slide stainer is a self-contained bench-top unit that is menu-driven, microprocessor controlled, and fully programmable. It features continuous load and unload of slide racks through entry and exit drawers, robotic arm delivery of slide racks to reagents, water bath, and oven. This system can stain over 150 slides per hour with typical H&E protocols. At full capacity it handles 11 racks with 30-slides per rack. 18 reagent stations hold up to 450 ml of reagent. It features 5 continuous flow wash stations with flow control, forced-air, slide-drying oven with adjustable temperature from 30 C to 65 C or off, adjustable agitation of slide racks, and memory for 15 programs with up to 25 steps in each program. The integrated control panel is user friendly. The tinted protective lid is impervious to vapor contact with organic solvents. It includes self-contained fume control with a replaceable charcoal filter system. Models are available for AC power supplies ranging from 90 to 250V; 50 or 60 Hz. Overall dimensions are 43"w (1090mm)x 26.4"d (670mm)x 20"h (510mm). Weight is 360 lbs (65kg). A higher operational capacity and a design in accordance with international safety standards make the Leica Sutostainer XL the instrument of choice for the histopathological laboratory. |
