Description
Antique Picker field hospital X-ray machine, working condition, dates from approximately 1940-1950.
Official nomenclature: "X-ray field unit, machine, complete, 110-volt, 60-cycle, item # 9608508, and parts contained in chest MD X-1, old type, item # 9609005."
This unit was used in the field by Army medical personnel, so it is somewhat shop-worn and not in ideal cosmetic condition. It could use some TLC, but as I say, it is in working condition.
I have available both the Army training manual and the operation/maintenance manual as well as schematics (electronic document or printed for you, but not originals).
Serious inquiries from collectors only please. This item is an antique and is not suitable for use in actual medical radiology. |
