The Alphaxcell is a multi-chambered air mattress connected to an adjustable pump. This systems inflates and deflates the chambers of the mattress to help prevent bed sores and pressure sores, and promote circulation in patients confined to a bed.

Active Pressure relief systems can range from $1500 - $6500. New, this unit cost us almost $2000 and was used successfully for two family members who became hospice patients in our home. The mattress and pump are very, very clean and in perfect working order.
