Timmy is about 9 years old. He talks and even sings! He's a great companion and lots of fun. Blue-crowned Conures live about 35 years. Timmy belongs to my son who is going to college and can't take him with. We are looking for a new home for Timmy. He comes with a large cage and toys.

The term "conure" is used primarily in bird keeping, though it has appeared in some scientific journals. The American Ornithologists' Union uses the generic term "parakeet" for all species termed conure elsewhere, although Joseph Forshaw, a prominent Australian ornithologist, uses the term "conure"
