Description
AO Biocut Microtome model 1130. The micrometer coarse and fine feed mechanism, object cylinder, and slideways are totally enclosed in a housing on a heavy base. The coarse adjustment is controlled by the crank wheel on the side of the housing. The object cylinder is mechanically guided. The accuracy and consistency of the section thickness cannot be affected by outside interference. The hinged hood keeps out dust. The microtome provides for practical space-saving storage of accessories. It features automatic feed from 1 to 40 micrometers in increments of 1 micrometer to 10 micrometers, 2 micrometers to 20 micrometers, and 5 micrometers to 40 micrometers. The feed range is 25mm, maximum span opening is 40 x 50mm. The freezing chamber is 40mm. The specimen stage is 20, 30, and 40mm circular and 40 x 40mm. The standard knife length is 16cm. Dimensions are 28cm w x 40cm l x 28cm h. Weight is 48 kg. Includes standard specimen holder and disposable knife holder.
