Description
Bright Micro Cryostat model 2212 (manuf # 115004). The world's smallest and most convenient microtome/cryostat. All professional features for surgical pathology are provided, including auto-defrost, freezer bar, digital displays for temperatures, automatic specimen advance and an antiroll device. Other unique features include a magnetic blade holder. Unit is available as standard rotary-wheel or lever-action microtome. Decontamination is simple with sterilizing solution and water. After rinsing, remove the microtome and dry it off with warm air. Standardized construction facilitates repair. The refrigeration unit is completely sealed. Chamber temperature is thermostatically controlled from ambient temperature to -30�C (-22�F), with the freezer bar being able to reach -40� C (-40� F). Automatic, programmable defrost is possible with a quick programming of the 24-hour quartz clock. The cabinet is constructed of steel with a vacuum-molded ABS polymer enclosure. Exposed parts are corrosion-proofed or anodized. Unit is shipped with microtome/cryostat, magnetic blade holder, two blades, two object holders, spare fuses and a 110/125V, 60 Hz hospital-grade plug. Maximum Stroke is 30mm, advance range is 2 � 12 �m, in 2 �m increments, maximum object size is 22mm diameter, minimum temperature is -22�F (-30�C). Knife holder adjustment is 0�12�C; with anti-roll device. Electrical requirements are 115V, 60Hz.
