Description
Tissue Tek Microtome/Cryostat model 4553 (Orange). This remanufactured cryostat includes the cryostat cabinet, microtome, specimen holder, knife holder, anti-roll plate, oil, and operator manual. Cryobar temperature remains constant at -40 degrees C +/- 3 degrees C. Cryostat chamber is thermostatically controlled between ambient and -30 degrees C. Quick freeze plate holds 6 specimens. Hermetically sealed, double-pane glass sliding door. Stainless steel cryostat chamber automatically defrosts every 24 hours at pre-selected time. Provides sections from 2 to 20u in 2u increments. Dial-type adjustment for rapid fingertip control of section thickness. Knife holder accepts all 120mm knives and may be adjusted for proper cutting edge. Dimensions are 26 1/2"w x 26 1/2"d x 48"h. Operates on 115V, 60 Hz, 6.5A, single phase, locked rotor 43A. Weight is 220 lbs. |
